"Well you don't have a choice," I reply.

Let’s face it; with our hectic daily schedule we tend to sacrifice our health. We run to the nearest fast food restaurant and grab a greasy burger with some limp fries and sugar laden drink… …After we inhale all that junk, we sit around feeling guilty for having eaten the meal. But what choice do we have? We don’t have time to cook and most of us don’t like to cook. Well, I’m here to tell you to get rid of this mentality or else you will pay a big price for your unhealthy habits.

Learn to cook! If you’ve never cooked or just don’t have a clue, teach yourself. Cooking Good Food website will contain instructions on how to get organized, so you can learn the tricks of the trade.

The only way to really cut all the junk food out of your diet is to head to your kitchen and cook it yourself ...

... Otherwise you have to rely on fast foods, frozen dinners, and carry-out cuisine ...

Most of these foods are not only high in fat, which can wreak havoc on your system, but it is loaded with sodium. Sodium can contributes to high blood pressure. When your blood pressure is elevated your heart has to work harder at moving the blood through your body. This can also cause extra strain on the kidneys. Uncontrolled blood pressure can shut the kidneys down. Then you end up on a dialysis machine for life. I've seen so many patients in the hospital who ended up on dialysis because they refused to put the salt shaker down ...

Is that the way you want to live?

Or would you rather be in super health, because you took the time during your busy schedule to learn to cook some healthy home cooked meals for you and your family.

Take charge of your health and teach yourself to cook. Then you are in control of how much fat and sodium goes into your food ...

I’m sorry to tell you this, but there is no way around it. You have to make time to go grocery shopping, cook and clean the kitchen ...

If you don’t, then you have to make time for being sick. I don’t know about you, but I would rather go out of my way 1 to 2 days a week and prepare my meals for the week then laying up in a hospital bed awaiting open heart surgery.
